| Why do I keep doing this to myself? Why do I keep making the same mistakes and not learn from them? Why could I write something like I did in the last post and then not take my own advice?

Silver see related | To whom this may concern: Extensive research has shown that us humans only use apporximately 10% of our brains. Many people find this statistic quite shocking. I, on the other hand, have pondered something that I find even more shocking....the lack in the use of the human heart. Each day we may talk about it or hear about it, but how often do we actually apply it. The world in which we live in has become one in which Franksteinesque creatures are walking around, pieced together bit by bit by what society has seen to become fit. People are constantly glancing at the cell phone not noticing the changing colors of the leaves, or their ears plugged with headphones and not attempting to listen to trees growing. Once you close one of these senses, the others become closed, including the heart. It then becomes ironic when the people that are constantly clouding their mind with noise and zoning out into their own world which they refuse to emerge from, are the ones that think life is nothing but a sad song or some cruel joke. These people have fallen into the trap of becomming mere observers in life's tale, letting other things narrate the story. The very first thing in order to fully enjoy this world is simply one word....Love. Like I've said, we may talk about it or hear about it and even wish for it, but how often do we apply it. How often do we go out of our way to help a someone out? How often do we let little things fog up the things that are the most important? How often do we let minor incidents get in the way of what could be a life long friendship? How often do we think in our mind "all you need is love"? Words shouldn't be able to describe that phrase. It is something that is so deep and complex, but can be understood by everyone in the world. All it takes is starring into someones eyes. All it takes is seeing someone smile. All it takes is looking into the sunset and realizing that the only thing that could make that moment better would be the companionship of someone. All it takes is someone. In this moment though I must be a realist and know that seconds after you read this, it may process for a small while and then leave your mind for good and with it the lesson that I am trying to teach. That will be the case for 99.99% of everyone who sees this. But if for one second I were able to get you to think about this before moving on into the materialistic world, then my task will have been completed for in my mind I have known that for one second in your life you have opened up your mind to love. You have thought about what it means and how often it actually smiles at you throughout the day. With that said I hope that you realize "all you need is love".
-Tyler-
P.S. With that said I would like to: Thank a group of friends that was always there on a Saturday night. Thank my family for never doubting and teaching all the things that others just can't. Thank anyone that has smiled and said "hello" to me as we passed. Thank those that I spent my years of high school with. Thank all of those that I have marched with for letting me into their family and helping me turn into who I am today. Thank anyone that has said to me "what's wrong." Thank anyone that has come into my life and for one second connected and shown me that they know what it means to be a part of this gigantic world. You are all the ones that make the difference. You are the ones that give faith. You are all the ones that make life such a glorious path to venture down. Thank you.
